1. Think of a number from 1 to 10.
2. Multiply by 9.
3. If your result is a two-digit number, add the two digits together.
4. Subtract 5
5. You will always get 4.

Its got something to do with the multiply by 9 and the subtract 5 because ......I also don't know....
After multiplying all the numbers from 1-10,both the digits added will always be 9.(Eg:18, 27, 36, 45,54,63,72,81)Hence, 9-5 will always be 4.
